Guitarist Marc Galea will be launching his album  EasyDialogue  at the St. James Cavalier music room on the 4th ofJune.

Since his first Ep titled  My Journey , Marc has evolved his styleand has been haunted by the jazz language which he considers as the  pure art of improvisation.

Marc is a guitar tutor and session guitarist.He has been working within the local music scene since 2002, participating inseveral local music events. He played in musicals under the direction of Mro. Paul Abela, and also worked with Mro. Kevin Abelaand Mro. Sigmund Mifsud. Marc achieved the internationally recognized RGTGuitar Tutor of the Year Finalist Award in 2008 and 2009 consecutively. Duringthese last years, Marc has collaborated with other acclaimed guitar players suchas Luigi Tessarollo, Gordon Giltrap, John Wheatcroft, Neil Murray and PhilHilborne.

He has been working on the album overthe past two years. This gave him the opportunity to collaborate with severalprominent musicians from the local jazz scene. Apart from the quartet that willbe playing during the launch, there were other musicians worth mentioning thatwere involved in this album: Dominic Galea, Walter Vella, Adrian Galea, MarioAbela and Adrian Brincat

The quartet playing at the launch willbe featuring established musicians and close friends that have been supportingMarc over the years. On the night, he will be accompanied by Mro. Paul Abela,the young and talented Alan Portelli and Joe &lsquo;Bibi&rsquo; Camilleri. The band willplay original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards including various jazz styles from Swing and Latin to Funk and Fusion.<

As the launch will be part of the Music Memory Project Annual M3p Conference,the concert will be filmed. On the evening, people attending will be given the opportunity to buy the album for a special price of euro 5 instead of the original price of euro 10.
