Biography
Marc Galea
Marc Galea is a qualified guitar tutor from the RGT, with 13 years teaching experience. During 2001 Marc held a teaching post in a state school in Malta and in that same year he produced and presented the innovative successful TV series B’Sitt Kordi (with six strings ) on Local Television where he taught basic guitar and interviewed established guitarists in Malta. In 2002 Marc went to the UK to study with leading guitar tutor John Mizarolli. John inspired him to further his studies and in 2005 he graduated with an LLCM TD Diploma from RGT as a professional guitar tutor and FLCM diploma in performance. In 2008 and 2009 Marc was awarded the internationally-acclaimed RGT Guitar Tutor of the Year Award Finalist award and in 2005 attended a Berklee University summer jazz course in Perugia, where he studied with Jim Kelly and Mark White.
